- One cup of dried yellow lentils.
- One medium onion.
- Two medium potatoes.
- Three big carrots.
- A teaspoon of cumin.
- Five cups of boiling water.
- Half teaspoon of salt and black pepper.
- Half a teaspoon of turmeric.
- Two lemons.
Wash the lentils well from impurities, peel the potatoes and the carrots and cut them into small pieces, chop the onion finely. Now, pour the boiling water into the pot and add all the ingredients to cook them for 35 minutes. After that, you have to mix all the ingredients in the blender, add salt, black pepper, a little turmeric, and cumin, and then put the ingredients on the heat again for extra 5 minutes.
